The CANM8 CANNECT REMLOCK is a dual output CAN (Control Area Network) Bus interface for vehicles that feature CAN Bus wiring. It provides separate 12v outputs for door lock and door unlock, so you can control an aftermarket central locking system using the vehicle's original remote key fob. Each output is active for 2 seconds when the lock or unlock command is detected.

Applications
The CANM8 CANNECT REMLOCK can be used to power a locking control motor and will replicate the door lock and unlock functions of the vehicle's original remote key fob. It is a good fit for aftermarket central locking and actuator installs, and for adding lock-triggered accessories without tapping into the vehicle's factory locking wiring. If your actuator or accessory draws more than 1A, switch it through a relay.

Installation Details
The interface features a mini wiring connector, which unplugs to allow easy installation. There are 2 connections to the vehicle CAN Bus wiring (CAN HI & CAN LO) along with a connection to a permanent, fused 12v power supply and a ground connection. Purchase the contactless reader to prevent wire splicing of the CAN-specific wiring.
The interface incorporates a multi-function status LED, which indicates correct connection to the CAN system, CAN activity present and confirmation that the CAN identity has been recognized.
LED Status Details
- Flashing Red: Searching for CAN information.
- Solid Red: CAN Data received but vehicle not yet identified.
- Solid Green: CAN Data received and vehicle type recognized.
- Flashing Green: Vehicle speed detected.
Wiring Harness Details
